WINNERS FOR JANUARY 1998
GAME REVIEW WEB SITES
| Gamespot online news source for computer gamers came into a crashing
first place with over 40% of the total votes on our original voting process. |
| Gamespot is a publication from ZDnet that deals with the computer gaming
industry. Gamespot happens to be the largest of the online gaming publications. They write
creative reviews and publications for the Internet community. We particularly like Ping.

| Online Gaming Review swept in at second place with 30% of the total votes
on our original voting process. |
| Although not a large as Gamespot, Online Gaming Review is a huge hit with
the hard-core gamers. They bring the side of gaming that other game review sites want to
avoid. This publication is a definite good read. |
| PC Gameworld squeaked in with a third place win over Happy Puppy
with 18% of the total votes on our original voting process. |
| PC Gameworld is probably the most conservative of all three of this
months winners. They cater only to PC games and do not show many of the really cool
graphics and layouts that OGR or Gamepsot does. PC Gameworld is owned and maintained by
loyal gamers like ourselves. |
